Nominated for Jewish & Israeli Blog Awards (Update)

April 30th, 2007 · Israel and the Middle East, Judaism, Media and Journalism, Religion, Science and Technology

The second part of the first round of voting in the Jewish & Israeli Blog Awards has commenced. Several of my specific posts have also been nominated in the following categories: “Dueling Jewish Cultures and the ADL” (Best Post Overall), “Is Chanukah a Right-Wing Holiday?” (Best Religious Post), “Fundamentalism and Modernity” (Best News Post), “Illegal Immigration and the Exodus” (Best Left-Wing Post), and “Solving the Middle East” (Best Post Series).

To vote in my category’s groups, click on the award categories above. To vote in all of the categories and subgroups, click here. I encourage everyone to look at all of the nominees and then choose the post that they think is the best in each category.

There are hundreds of quality blogs in the Jewish and Israeli blogosphere, and events like the JIBA are important because they encourage bloggers to write and contribute to the marketplace of ideas. I wish everyone the best of luck.
