    I’m a bit trou­bled by the phrase, “it will require large-scale tech­no­log­i­cal and social change,” under the global warm­ing head­ing. If humans are actu­ally caus­ing global warm­ing instead of it being caused by the sun, then sure, we must do some­thing to stop it.

    How­ever, if it really is the sun’s increased activ­ity that’s caus­ing it, as many assert, then the above quote becomes very dis­turb­ing and seem­ingly filled with anti-American agenda — a sure fire way to con­trol us back to the dark ages.
