In high school I felt the girls' highest priority in life was to get married. Now I'm shocked when I talk to today's high school and college girls and they talk about never wanting to get married. I always felt this was a result of such a high divorce rate. Kids growing up in this environment see the negative way it impacts their parents and decide not to go through that themselves.
