Shalom Chanoach is one of Israel’s most revered singers. Here is a classic clip of one his best rock songs. “Moshiach Lo Ba” (1985) means “The Messiah is Not Coming.”
The song is the Messiah commiting suicide by jumping out of a window after a crash of the Israeli stock market. The song is catchy, but the words are a downer. I think it is appropriate in these times.
