But I would wager to say that both Israel and Hamas, and the US, for that matter have been guilty of actions that could be considered war crimes in many many instances over the last 60 years.  I see that you are much more knowledgeable and passionate regarding this conflict than I am, but I have always, as a non-religious outsider, considered this to be an unsolvable, never-ending tragedy. Whats that quote I always hear? &#039;A good man will do good things, and a bad man will do bad things, but it takes religion to make a good man do bad things.&#039;  Obviously an oversimplified and largely untrue statement, but I think that in many cases it can be applicable.  Is there really any true justification for murdering civilians? Whether it be by a terrorists bomb, or a long range missile system?
