Why I Blog

November 19th, 2005 · 2 Comments · Uncategorized

After having sworn–like most of my friends and, I’m sure, most bloggers–never to get a cellphone, get a real job, or start a blog, I’ve finally succumbed to the allure of all three. This blog is the result of realizing that, as Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert) says, my philosophy is pretty much “Everything that I think about is more fascinating than the crap in your head.”

If you’re thinking of emailing all your friends snippets from the blog: feel free. Just remember, if any of my work shows up in a book, I want royalties and/or citations. After all, why write anything if it won’t make you rich and/or famous? I’m pretty sure it will keep me out of political office.….

Now Available: E-Book download: “Letters from Israel: An American journalist’s adventures in the Holy Land.”

I knew long ago that you were destined for great things, and commentary (of the political nature) has always been so easy for you!
