Conservatives Against Free Trade?

June 13th, 2007 · Business, Economics, and Finance, Law and Legal Affairs, World Affairs

Some conservatives, interestingly enough, are using the controversy over immigration to rally against further attempts at increasing free trade throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico collectively. I guess they don’t want lower prices for consumers through increased competition.

If protectionism ever catches on again, the United States is doomed.
