Football Results Update

I was ecsta­tic that Israel’s national team defeated Rus­sia in a Euro 2008 qual­i­fier yes­ter­day. It was a nail-biting, intense game. While the teams were tied in the sec­ond half, Rus­sia focused so much on hav­ing an aggres­sive offense that they left their defense wide open.

Today, New Eng­land is play­ing Hous­ton in the Major League Soc­cer Cham­pi­onship. Not that I want to jinx any­thing, but it’s a real pos­si­bil­ity that Boston teams could win the World Series, the Super Bowl, the NBA cham­pi­onship and the MLS cham­pi­onship. (The Bru­ins?
