According to Andrew Sullivan, Iranian doctor Arash Hejazi has identified the man pictured as the person who shot Neda Agha-Soltan during a protest in Tehran. He is likely a true-religion believer.
I do not speak Farsi, but Sullivan is a reliable journalist.
I do not know how Dr. Hejazi obtained this information, so any Farsi-speakers are free to translate his blog post on world politics and place the information in the comments.

A bit of an irresponsible post, don’t you think? What hard evidence do you (or “reliable journalist” — whatever that means — Andrew Sullivan) have that would prompt you to join in the hue and cry after this presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law man? Has he been charged with the crime?
It’s about time blogwriters began to accept that the printed (digitalized) word carries some weight of authority with many non-thinking individuals in this world, and match that with a commensurate amount of responsibility in making posts.
This post is tantamount to pointing to someone in the street and shouting my cousin told me that his friend saw this man rape the child!
Any blood shed, innocent or otherwise, as a result would be on your hands.
