December 6th, 2009 · Soccer, Sports

world cup predictions, world cup seeding 2010Here are the eight groups of four teams each that will have their World Cup soccer gear in the 2010 World Cup, and here is the match schedule. The top two teams in each group will make it to the Round of 16 on their way towards winning the most-important soccer trophies in the world.

World Cup Predictions

As I have always said, international soccer is war by other means. The spoils are the soccer gifts of victory and soccer goals; the weapons are soccer equipment; the armor is soccer uniforms, soccer shin guards, and soccer socks; the enemy barracks are soccer nets; and the declarations of war are soccer tickets.

Since Israel did not make the cut and few Americans care about soccer, I will support my third-favorite country: England — football was invented by the country! As a alternate, I will also root for Argentina since I have a lot of friends from there whom have persuaded me to hate Brazil. What FIFA predictions are you making?
