The police foiled an attempt to kill an artist who drew a car­toon depict­ing the Prophet Muham­mad that sparked out­rage in the Mus­lim world, the head of Denmark’s intel­li­gence ser­vice said Saturday.

And I can­not put it any bet­ter than the per­son who sub­mit­ted this head­line to the Fark.com news-aggregating web­site:

Man who made the tur­ban bomb car­toon depict­ing rad­i­cal Islam as vio­lent is vio­lently attacked by a rad­i­cal Muslim

Price­less. Can­not the Islamists see that they are enact­ing self-fulfilling prophe­cies? Oh, wait — that would take logic.
