JERUSALEM — So, after tonight, I have become confident in the stodginess of my old age as far as music is concerned. In a local kiosk, a convenience store, I overheard a dance-techno remix using the piano solo in Supertramp’s “Crime of the Century” heard at 2:20. (I cannot find the remix online.) Then, listening to Gagalatz earlier this evening, I heard this techno-dance remix of “Serenade” by the Steve Miller Band.
It just goes to show that modern music is bankrupt. All they can do is piggyback on the talent of earlier artists.
